The book of the exhibition talks about our relationship with nature, technology and the imaginaries of the future. It is an alternative version of history. What if life on Earth had evolved in another way? What if animals were gifted with poetry? What if we went to Mars while staying on Earth?
In these parallel stories I wanted to rediscover the pleasure of childhood and play to stage two imaginaries of the future. Space exploration with its share of dream and mystery, and the reinvention of the living through the prism of technology and poetry. It is a journey into a hybrid world oscillating between reality, imagination, history and anticipation. It is also an invitation to the aesthetic contemplation of alternative versions of our world . Using mixed techniques, such as 3D printing, mosaic, sculpture, jewelry, music and film, Fournier stages two imaginaries of the future: space exploration and the reinvention of the living through technology and poetry. Uchronia invites the aesthetic contemplation of alternative versions of our world. The photographs, sculptures and other works of art that make up the exhibition include Auctus animalis, Flora incognita, Post Natural History, Space utopia, Murmures, le Coeur immortel, les Fleurs de chair, among others.
